To support this exciting strategic initiative, the Business School is looking to appoint a lecturer in the following subject area:
Lecturer in Marketing (2 posts)
As a specialist in marketing, the post holder will have the capacity to teach across a range of general modules such as ‘Marketing Communications Planning’ and ‘Principles of Marketing’ as well as delivering on specialist modules such as ‘Visual Communications for Marketers’ and ‘Sustainable Marketing’. Candidates should be at the forefront of their discipline and should be able to inspire students and colleagues alike with enthusiasm for their subject area(s).
All Business School staff have the opportunity and will be expected to teach at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, from level 3 Foundation Year to level 7 Masters Qualifications.
Staff will be able to bid for research hours and take part in enterprise activities, including corporate and executive education.
We would expect the successful candidate to:
- Have a PhD or nearing completion i.e. viva pending or hold a Masters qualification with extensive industry experience.
- Demonstrate excellent teaching in higher education or have presented regularly to professional audiences in an industry setting.
- Demonstrate excellent team working and communication skills.
In addition, for the Lecturer role, we would expect the candidate to:
- Demonstrate the potential for successful publication in ranked journals.
